Purchase of team swim suits is not mandatory but is heavily recommended because it will be easier to identify your swimmer at meets. It is required though that all swimmers must wear a PVP cap for the meets. PVP swim caps are available for purchase at the Gate Guard Window at any time during the season. The cost of the cap is $5.00. It is important that swimmers use PVP caps or solid caps, not their caps from other swim teams (BAC, GSCY, JCC, Ridge High School, etc). Metro Swim Shop will also be taking orders for silicone PVP caps (personalized or not) during the parents’ meeting, and at the store until June 13th. Many swimmers prefer the more expensive silicone to latex caps. Goggles are important for swimmers to protect the eyes from the chlorine. These are also available from Metro swimshop.
