Please join us at our annual "Awards Picnic/ Team Banquet" on Monday July 24th to celebrate another fantastic summer swim season of our beloved PVP Piranhas!

The Awards Picnic will be held at the Pleasant Valley pool on Monday, July 24th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for all the families to gather one last time and celebrate their swimmers. Every swimmer (team and pre-team) will receive a trophy in recognition of their participation. “Bernard’s Cafe” will provide a delicious Italian buffet for the swimmers and their families. We hope you can join us!

The cost is $20 per person (including swimmers) for anyone aged 6 years and over. Everyone is welcome: swimmers, parents, siblings, grandparents, etc.

If you can attend, please provide payment no later than Saturday July 15th- once paid, you are automatically registered for the picnic.

You can pay by venom, paypal or check. For electronic payments please include a note who it is for and how many people are attending.

For check payments: place check in an envelope, and label it with your family's name and the number of people attending (# adults / # children). Please make all checks payable to PVP Swim Team. Drop off the envelope in the “Awards Picnic/Team Banquet” folder at the pool club (in the filing box with the ribbons). You can also hand it to me at one of the meets. Bastian and Caspian Mom.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept payment on the day as we must confirm headcount with Bernard’s Cafe. Thank you for your understanding!

On the day of the Awards Picnic/ TeamBanquet, please bring a salad (last names beginning with A to J) or dessert (last names beginning with K to Z) to share, as well as beverages for your own family.

We will post a sign up sheet on swimtopia tomorrow for volunteers. As in prior years there will be a need for people to help out with set up and clean up. Thank you in advance.

If you are unable to attend but still wish to contribute towards the end-of-season gift for the coaches (which is included in the above cost for the awards picnic), you may do so by dropping off a check in the same “TeamBanquet” folder (please mark your envelope or cheque “coaches gift”). We suggest an amount of $10 per swimmer or $20 per family, but this is of course at the discretion of each family.
